Seven Court Reporters Used in Lovelace Trial


Lovelace has requested a copy of transcripts from the first trial, which lasted two weeks and resulted in a mistrial after the jury of 10 women and two men was deadlocked at 6-6 after 16 hours of deliberation. In a motion that he filed on his own behalf, Lovelace asked that he receive the transcripts free of charge.
