Mr. Cumoletti first served as an assistant clerk and stenographer at Pine Camp, now known as Fort Drum, in 1941, and also was an interpreter for Italian prisoners of war that were held in the north country during the war. After the war, Mr. Cumoletti served for four months on a court reporter team at the first Nuremberg trials, in which 22 Nazi Party leaders were tried.
