The Community College of Allegheny County's Allegheny Campus will host A to Z Intro to Machine Shorthand, an Introduction to Stenographic Theory on July 22 and August 5. The course is free, and students do not need to register at CCAC to attend. Classes will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room 436 of Milton Hall. Designed by the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), the course offers a basic, hands-on introduction to the profession of court reporting. Students will be able to find out if they are interested in pursuing a career in the field while investing little time and no money.
