Court Reporter's Art Sheds Light on Native History


DeForest resident Geri Schrab never planned on being a painter of rock art. Between growing up on a dairy farm in Dodge County and her German heritage, practicality was in her roots. She pursued a career as a court reporter and has worked around the state, including in Dane, Columbia, Sauk and Dodge counties since the early 90s. The year after moving to DeForest in 1992, Schrab and her husband took a backpacking trip to the Tetons in Wyoming.
