Emilie Posnan’s role as a Montgomery County Court stenographer helped land her an appearance in a television drama based on a headline-making crime and she brought some noteworthy attention to the importance of the profession she loves. “It was such a great experience. It was the best thing,” Posnan, of Abington, said about her “15-minutes of fame” appearing as a stenographer in the current Showtime series “Escape At Dannemora” about a 2015 prison break in upstate New York.
